The Syrian Journalists Syndicate documented Tuesday 13 media violations in Afrin region, 43 km north of Aleppo, north of Syria, since Turkish forces took control of the city on January 20, 2018, and until November 13.
A statement issued by the Syrian Center for Press Freedoms said three journalists were killed and two wounded, while the Turkish authorities detained four journalists.
The statement added that the Turkish factions of the Turkish armed forces committed six violations were arrest of five journalists and prevention of institution to work.
This came after the arrival of activist Bilal Suriol to his home on Sunday night – Monday and effects of bruising and torture clearly, while “Association of Media in East Ghouta” through a statement that a force of “Sultan Murad” abducted him forcibly and concealed his place without justification.
In a report published in late 2017, Reporters Without Borders said that for six years Syria had been most dangerous country for journalists and was still the first to hold foreign journalists hostage.
