Afrin: dead and wounded in various explosions shaking Afrin city and its countryside

Afrin city and its countryside witnessed a series of sporadic explosions that resulted in a number of deaths and injuries. Alaa Mansour Abu Mohammed, a resident of Ma’admiya al-Sham district, died of a landmine explosion near Afrin city. The Rajo-Afrin road in northern Syria , a huge explosion resulted from an explosive device that killed three people and wounded 17 others in an initial results .

The explosion was carried out by a group calling itself “Falcons of Revenge”, in a statement issued after the explosion. The members of group detonated an explosive device with a military van vehicle carrying “Turkish soldiers and their mercenaries” on Rajo road next to Abu Imad bakery, known as center of Afrin. “The operation was successful, where three Turkish soldiers were killed , were transferred to hospitals inside Turkish, six mercenaries, in addition to wounding 12 others seriously injured.

The group vowed to carry out more attacks until liberate Afrin from Turkish occupation and his assistants and followers. Hours later, police forces dismantled an explosive device near Bant(girls )secondary school in the city.

In a related context, an unknown group attacked a checkpoint belonging to “Northern Storm Brigade(A’asaft Al shaml)” belonging to armed factions loyal to Turkey, on the road, “Afrin – Azaz, killing two military elements guarding the checkpoint.
