A video footage of Turkish army soldiers torturing a Syrian Kurd who is believed to have been filmed in the northern Syrian city of Afrin has spread to social media sites “Twitter”.
An account called “Omar Gjidam” said that soldiers inside the Turkish army were trying to create strife in Turkey during the torture of the Kurds.
Another account named “Turkish scene” commented on the video “from Scenes of justice (!) and Welfare (!) that Erdogan brought to the people of Afrin. Congratulations to you, Islamists, for the caliph of the Muslims. You sow hatred against Muslims by your actions, which are so shame. “
Syrian factions supported by Turkey formerly fighting under the banner of the “Free Army” on March 18, 2018, took control of the entire city of Afrin, following an incursion into the city center, killing no less than 300 civilians and wounding 1,000 people, in addition to displacing 300,000 residents from their city after a two-month battle.
