The Turkish forces targeted several villages in west of Kobani city in Aleppo countryside , the shelling continued for an hour, starting at 10 am Syrian time. Where artillery shells and tanks fell on several populated villages, namely Zormaghar, Khirbet Atu, Ashma and Jarqli.
YPG accused of what they described as the Turkish occupation forces to destabilize security and stability of the region, and bring out new problems in the region. Stressing that “while trying to defeat ISL terrorist in the region and in this context and struggling on the front lines, the Turkish attacks, which get without any reason, helps the Turkish occupation to ISL mercenaries urging, make it clear again that we did not did any attack from our side to Turkish border with ” aim of these attacks is to destabilize security and stability and to help ISL mercenaries. We make it clear that any illegal attack against the territory of northern Syria will not pass without a response and we have the right to defend the project against any attacks that may take place”
Turkish forces increased their deployment and stationed their military forces at a number of border points along the city of Gri Spy / Tall Abyad and near the border villages west of Kobani city “Zorfa – Buban and Ashma.”
In the past few weeks, it has also targeted several villages located on the border strip in Kobani area, Tall Abyad / Gri Spy and Al Hasaka, resulting in human and material losses
