Turkish did not respect moral values, beliefs

On the 5th of February last year, the Turkish occupation army targeted the Martyr Seydo Shrine, located in Kafr Safreh village in Janders district, and destroyed it completely.

The Turkish occupation army in Afrin proved once again that it does not respect the moral values or even the beliefs of any people. The shrine of the Martyr Seydo which includes the tombs of hundreds of martyrs who were martyred in defense of their land turned into rubble.

The Martyr Seydo Shrine (Rudy Haji), opened in late May 2011, when the martyr Seydo Dersim, the real name is Rudy Haji was buried there.
The shrine has remained over the past years, receiving the martyrs of the People and Women Protection Units, and the number of martyrs who have been buried there reached 183 martyrs who were martyred in defense of their land.
On January 20 last year, attacks by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on Afrin canton began and targeted all material and moral values in an attempt to undermine the will of the people. On February 5 last year, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries directed their cannons, guns and tanks to the shrine of the Martyr Seydo, and destroyed it.
On February 10, the occupation army and its mercenaries re-targeted the shrine and inflicted extensive destruction to the shrine and the tombs located there. After the occupation of Afrin, photographs were published showing the great destruction inflicted to the shrine.
This situation put the Turkish occupation army in the ranks of the armies that do not respected the moral values and beliefs of the peoples, not only in Afrin but also in Bakur (North Kurdistan), where the Turkish occupation destroyed many of the martyrs’ shrines there.
