A recent photograph published by media agencies revealed that Nawaz Akram Tubal, 37, was tortured in the prisons of one of Syrian Islamic factions in Afrin. Tubal was abducted on 17-9-2018 by elements of Al Hamzat group, which was previously fighting under the banner of the Free Syrian Army, while he was traveling from his village of Basutah in the area of Afrin towards the village of Ghazawiya. He had 300,000 Syrian pounds.
The gunmen had refused to reveal he is held and demanded $ 16,000 for his release.
