Arrests and raids continue in Afrin city and its suburbs by Syrian groups belonging to Turkey, where kidnapping of civilians and demanding a ransom of up to 15,000 dollars for their release – a new means of material gain for the militants.
An armed group of “Military Police” with members of “Sham Corps” raided Zakaria Saleh Khalil home , 60 years old , in Naza village , in Sharan area in Afrin. They tied his hands and feet and stole a sum of 125,000 Syrian pounds, plus two phones.
Farah Mohammed Mustafa, 34 years old , was kidnapped in Pavlor village in Jandaris district in Afrin and asked his family for 12,000 to release him.
While the fate of five civilians from Andera village is unknown after their abduction yesterday and inability of their parents to pay ransom for their release, five kidnapped are: Nuri Najjar , Jamal Najjar and Dalkash Najjar from Yazidi component ,Khalid Hassan Ali of Arab component and Mustafa Ibish.
“Ahrar al-Sham” raided “Kafr Shila” village rural city and kidnapped 10 citizens of the villagers, including children, their place is still unknown. The victims were: Hassan Manan Mustafa (45 years old), Ismael Manan Mustafa (43 years), Sobhi Manan Mustafa (40 years), Mustafa Khalil Abdel Rahman (25 years), Mazloum Ahmed Mustafa (25 years) Farhad Mustafa, 17, Ahmed Hassan Mustafa, 16, Manan Ismail, 15, and Abdu Khalil Abdel Rahman, 18 years old .
Al Shami Front also kidnapped three shepherds in Sherwa area in Afrin and took them to Basuta prison, known by Sherwa people as “the castle”, which carries out the most severe torture.
The names of three shepherds are: “Kawar Adel Haj Awash, Abdo Hussein Hussein, Mazloum Abdo Hamo”.
Three civilians were kidnapped in Shurba village in of Ma’abata area. They were: Shair Aziz Mustafa – Dhamat Aziz Mustafa, Mohammed Kalou was arrested in Kafr Zeitah village by Ahrar al-Sharqiya. Members of the same faction also occupied Khastia forest trees north of Blaza Jandaris and sold to traders .
Where tractors loaded with firewood were seen accompanied by members of Ahrar al-Sharqiya, who have been descending from Khastia forests several times in recent days.
Members of Sultan Murad faction attacked Jalal Abdo, 55 years old , from Mashala village after resisting and preventing him from robbing his wife’s jewelry.
