A group of armed masked gunmen attacked the deputy head of local council in Ma’abtli area . lawyer “Daoud Omar” from “Qantara” village in countryside of Afrin, near village traffic cycle, while he was returning home in his car with his sister Sultana Omar, resulting in injury fractures in parties and head area, while they was failed attempt to be kidnapped by armed masked, after people intervention .
It is noteworthy that the Turkish forces have formed local councils to manage the service area since the imposition of full control of Afrin area , but some of these councils remained a target for militants, where the head of local council in Shiya / Sheikh Hadid was killed by Suleiman Shah faction , subjected to severe torture.
