The pro-Turkish national army arrests citizens in Ras Al-Ain countryside

June 9th, 2020
Reliable sources have reported that three Turkish armoured vehicles, accompanied by gunmen from the Legion of the Levant and Sultan Murad, stormed the village of Khirbet Al-Banat (Al-Dawai) in the countryside of Ras Al-Ain on Mabrouka Road, and arrested 5 sheep herders and took them to an unknown location.
Details of the accident, according to local sources, refer to a number of the villagers. They saw people setting fire to wheat fields in the area immediately adjacent to the border wall, and they shouted to warn that they were watching the crime, to initiate shooting towards them, under the gaze of the Turkish border guards who did not interfere although normally Turkish guards would kill any civilians approaching the border wall.
On the following day, 8th June 2020, Turkish soldiers stormed the village and arrested 5 residents for setting fire to their fields, which they planted with wheat and barley.
A video clip obtained by us shows the relatives of the kidnappers and the villagers gathered in front of a Turkish military base, where the Turkish soldiers insulted and expelled them.
