The violations and practices of the Turkish occupation against the people of Afrin continue, as the civilians have been fleeing their homes as a result of inhumane violations against them.
Among the abductees who managed to get out of the mercenaries’ prisons in Afrin after being brutally tortured, beaten and looted was Qadri Mustafa, a 60-year-old resident of Afrin canton who spent a month in the mercenaries’ prisons.
The abductees were subjected to all kinds of torture in prisons
Qadri told his story, and what happened to him when he was in Afrin saying, “Like any civilian in Afrin, I was kidnapped by the mercenaries. I was tortured in their prison rooms for a whole month, along with hundreds of innocent civilians. We were subjected to all kinds of torture, and have been kept for two days without food or drink.”
Giving narcotic pills to the abductees through water
Qadri pointed out that the mercenaries were giving them narcotic pills and added, “They kidnapped me in Afrin and took me to unknown prison. They put the narcotic pills in our water cups and then they took us to unknown places. They are the infidels, not we. They asked me why I did not pray and I asked them the same question. They beat children, women and the elderly, why?”
Qadri knew that the mercenaries were giving them pills, he said, “In the early days of our kidnapping, they allowed us to drink water. We felt that the taste of the water was unusual, and minutes later, we would fall asleep without knowing what was going on around us. After a while, the water became natural and we did not fall asleep.”
At first, we did not know where we were, even one day, and as a result of our torture, they threw us in a place. Later, I knew that it was behind Azaz prison, and then, the people noticed two people lying on the ground, and informed the police station. They took us again and increased our torture, where my friend was killed under torture.”
They kidnapped my daughter and I do not know what her fate is
Qadri talked about the kidnapping of his only daughter and that he has not been aware of her fate yet, “It was promoted that I was killed by the mercenaries on social networking websites. When my 22-year-old daughter Amina saw that, she went to al- Zahra area of Aleppo, headed from there to Afrin and arrived at the village.
The elderly Qadri Mustafa managed to get out of Afrin and go to al-Shahba canton without mentioning the details of the exit, and now lives with his wife, son and grandchildren in Babens village.
The elderly Qadari Mustafa was tortured and beaten by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in Afrin after they looted and robbed his house. He witnessed the killing of civilians by the mercenaries, and after the news about his killing was spread, his only daughter went to Afrin.
