Afrin: Continued raids and arrests in Karzila village

The Syrian armed factions of Turkish state continue a military operation in Karzila village in the area of Shirawa in Afrin. The operation, led by fighters from Ahrar al-Sham movement, began a week ago and dozens of civilians, including women and children, were arrested.

Since morning hours, they arrest three civilians from the village, including two women, Zaki Hmkaro, 25 years old , Zarifa Omar, 53 years old, and Fatuma Abdo, 50 years , were taken to an unknown location.

On August 20, the factions launched a series of raids on dozens of houses in Karzila village / Shirawa district. The arrest 6 civilians was documented: Adnan Oulu bin Nawaf, 31 years old, Aref Khoja, 25 years old, were taken to an unknown location . Where houses were searched, vandalized and telephone confiscated.

On 17 August, the village was also raided and Ahmed Abdul Rahman, his father Yusuf Abdel Rahman, his cousin Nuri Abdul Rahman, Adel Jammu and Rizan Shukri were arrested and their fate remains unknown. Military authorities did not disclose their whereabouts to their families, but demanded a ransom through intermediaries to locate Arrested.

On August 4, the Turkish army and some of its armed factions raided houses in Ba’adyna area of yesterday. They kidnapped a large group of young men from the area and were taken to an unknown location without knowing the reasons.

The armed factions that stormed the homes of civilians and kidnapped them: ” Ma’atasim Ballah Brigade ” and “Brigade of Mohammed Al Fatah ” Ahfad Al Rasool.

They were also driven by the Turkish militants Karzila village in Shirawa area. They took three civilians to an unknown location , confiscating agricultural machines and vehicles belonging to civilians.

The vehicles were confiscated (a Hyundai owned by Mustafa Kalou, a motorbike for Adnan Oulu and an agricultural tractor owned by Sobhi Gomaa).

The number of agricultural machines and vehicles confiscated since imposition of Turkey’s control of Afrin city / 340 agricultural tractors, 245 cars and a large number of motorcycles.
