The Turkish Armed Forces, in cooperation with the Syrian armed forces supported by money, equipment and weapons, are trying to redraw cultural and religious map in area so-called “Euphrates Shield” and “Afrin” about 400 square kilometers by focusing on supporting mosques construction under care of religious groups operating under Justice and Development Government , religious affairs authority, also known as Dianat, is official body responsible for managing Islamic religion affairs in Turkey. Military Turkish occupation, security and civilian levels as a force of “occupation” where institution has entered educational institutions in the regions of Jarblous , Al bab , Azaz and Afrin through imposition of curricula prepared in accordance with the Turkish political view of Islam as well as transformation of mosques to schools pursue ideology of justice and development and attract more Children, in addition to their role in choosing imams of mosques and to intervene in formulation of the Friday sermon delivered by imam of the mosque to worshipers.
Hundreds of mosques to serve the Turkish curriculum:
The Turkish Religious Affairs Directorate published a report on its activities in northern Syria.
According to the report, it has renovated 108 mosques in the areas of Jarblous, Bab, A’zaz, Al ra’ai, Mara’a, Ahtamilat and Ekhtareen. The cost of renovating mosques in mentioned areas amounted to more than 10 million Turkish lira.
The report also pointed out that the head of religious affairs has completed work of detection and reconnaissance to renovate 160 mosques at a cost of about 5 million Turkish liras. A sum of 360,000 liras was also allocated for building of Fatwa and Sharia schools. These activities are supervised by 5 Turkish imams, Thousand and 19 Imam, preacher, muezzin and teacher of Quran in mentioned regions, as of March last year.
The report revealed that cessation of the Turkish religion pays each month salaries of workers, the value of salaries paid during period from May 2017 to June 2018, 5 million and 465 thousand Turkish lira.
