The Syrian\ninterim government in Gazi Entebbe opened a civil registry\nfor Palestinian refugees in Afrin city (24 km north of Aleppo) in northern\nSyria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The\nCenter will provide services to 1,500 Palestinian families that were settled in\nAfrin city, in order to alleviate the difficulties faced by them as they travel\nbetween the regions or to review them to the official and non-official\ncircles,” Smarat agency report from Internal Control Director in General\nAdministration of civilian Affairs .\nThey will document the civil status of Palestinian refugees, such as births,\ndeaths, marriages and divorces. They will also be issued an individual\nregistration, a family statement and all personal documents at their place of\nbirth and current residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to\nprevious statistics of the center that between 7800 and 8000 Palestinians are\nnow living in Afrin, they moved from the countryside of Damascus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
