According to available information, Kosa was assaulted while returning from Nowruz celebrations toward the city of Aleppo, at the Al-Shat checkpoint in the city of Azaz, in the presence of members of the Internal Security Forces \u0627\u0644\u062a\u0627\u0628\u0639\u0629 \u0644\u0648\u0632\u0627\u0631\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u062f\u0627\u062e\u0644\u064a\u0629 \u0641\u064a \u0627\u0644\u062d\u0643\u0648\u0645\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0627\u0646\u062a\u0642\u0627\u0644\u064a\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0648\u0631\u064a\u0629. This forced him to change his route and head back toward the Afrin region.<\/p>\n
During his return journey, he was subjected to further assaults at the junction of the village of Maryamin in the Afrin countryside, including physical beating and verbal abuse, which led to a sharp deterioration in his health condition. He was later transferred to a hospital, where he passed away.<\/p>\n
On Sunday, March 22, 2026, he was laid to rest in his village of Bafloun, in the Sharran subdistrict of Afrin countryside, under tight security measures, and without holding condolence ceremonies within the village due to fears of further attacks. Condolences were instead held in the city of Aleppo.<\/p>\n
