A Human Rights Organization Documenting The Death of 54 Children Since “Turkish Occupation” of Afrin

“Since 20/1/2018, when the Turkish attack began, the human rights organization in Jazeera has documented the loss of 54 children, including 6 children who lost their lives as a result of mines, 71 children were abducted, 13 children were kidnapped and blackmailed, and more than 350,000 civilians were displaced from the city and its countryside, mostly children and sciatica,” the organization said in a statement. , they were displaced in several areas inside and outside the country, and a large number of them gathered in camps around the city in Al Shahba and Tal Rafa’at, in the midst of a suffocating siege and difficult living, health and educational conditions. ”
In its statement on the occasion of World Children’s Day, the organization appealed to the international community to carry out its duties, protect children in conflict zones, provide safe living for children and improve their communication with society. It called on the conflicting parties in Syria to stop the war and abide by the principle of protecting children in all areas of Syria, whatever the dominant entity on the ground in the conflict zone and to hold perpetrators of war crimes in particular against children and prosecute them and provide support and psychological, health and educational care for them To rehabilitate and reintegrate them with the community and secure their right to a secure and stable life
